Bowling Green Mural in the making

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- Artist Andee Rudloff is teaming up with Reynolds, a paving and striping company, to create a unique artistic tribute to Kentucky’s evolving roadways. The collaboration involves painting three large-scale murals at Reynolds’ new location, each representing the past, present, and future of Kentucky roads. Rudloff believes that art plays a natural role in showcasing progress, saying, “A lot of people don’t even realize how far we’ve come when it comes to the road business.”

Her murals aim to highlight the transformative journey of infrastructure across the state. “Now, Andee is creating a work of art that captures what the roads were like in the past, the present, and even the future,” the team shared. With Kentucky continuing to invest in its transportation systems, Rudloff sees art as a powerful way to preserve and celebrate that growth. “Art is like the ability to kind of document the legacy and the stories,” she said. This project marks just the beginning of Rudloff’s plans for community-based art. She is also partnering with the city of Bowling Green to bring fresh artistic additions to several popular streets. For those interested in getting involved, more information will be available through Andee’s social media.
