Bowling Green man facing possession, distribution of child pornography charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing child pornography charges.

The Bowling Green Police Department says it executed a warrant on Patric McGill, 26, of Bowling Green, on Monday.

During the investigation, police say McGill knowingly possessed images and videos “depicting actual sexual performances” by minors under the age of 12.

Police say more than 20 images and videos were discovered on McGill’s cell phone. McGill allegedly sent at least five videos to another person. The videos also depicted minors under the age of 12 in sexual acts, police say.

Police say McGill admitted to possession and distribution of the child sexual abuse material.

McGill faces 20 possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by minors under 12 charges and five distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by minors under 12 charges.

McGill is lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
