Bowling Green man charged with trespassing

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is charged with trespassing after an incident on Wednesday.
According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriffs Office responded around 1:10 a.m. to Witt Road for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, deputies say they exited with weapons drawn and located a vehicle in the road occupied by one of the callers.
Authorities say the caller was pointing at a man lying in the middle of a driveway.
Deputies say they approached 55-year-old Michael Miller of Bowling Green at gunpoint and detained him.
Authorities say Miller stated he had consumed four beers this morning and snorted a line of methamphetamine.
The citation further states Miller stated he had been knocking on doors on Witt Road.
The caller stated that Miller had entered his home, leading to the caller to put Miller outside and fire one round from a gun into the air.
Miller was arrested. He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of first-degree criminal trespassing and public intoxication – controlled substance (excludes alcohol).
