BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing a charge of sexual misconduct involving a child, according to court records.

According to a uniform citation, 18-year-old Raheem Deen of Bowling Green was charged with sexual misconduct after an incident that allegedly occurred in October.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office states it responded in late October regarding a complaint about an alleged inappropriate relationship between a child and Deen.

Authorities say they viewed messages in the victim’s phone between the victim and Deen.

In addition, the citation states authorities located images of physical contact that “did not appear appropriate for an 18-year-old” and the child.

When deputies spoke to Deen on Dec. 9, the citation states Deen stated he is not in a relationship with the victim and that they are “only friends.”

Deen is scheduled for a pretrial conference on Jan. 21 at 1:30 p.m., according to court records. He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.
