Bowling Green man charged with sexual abuse of a child

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is charged with sexual abuse of a child under 12.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded on Tuesday regarding reported sexual contact between an adult male and a child.

Police say the victim stated 26-year-old Patrick Lancaster of Bowling Green had sexual contact with her.

Lancaster was located and taken into custody.

Lancaster spoke to authorities at the Bowling Green Police Department, where officers say he admitted to the reported sexual contact.

Lancaster is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

The investigation is ongoing.
