HALFWAY, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges related to allegedly driving under the influence over the weekend.

According to a uniform citation, the Kentucky State Police Post 3 responded for a DUI complaint about a vehicle heading into Allen County from Warren County.

Troopers say the Warren County Sheriff’s Office stated 29-year-old Zackary Sibalich was on 234 traveling toward Friendship Church Road in Allen County.

Additionally, troopers say they were advised Sibalich made threats to shoot at law enforcement if they tried to stop him. The uniform citation further states when a trooper saw Sibalich’s vehicle, Sibalich ran the trooper off of the road.

Troopers say they later approached a residence on Cemetery Road in Allen County, where they located Sibalich behind the house.

Sibalich resisted arrest and fought troopers before being taken into custody, according to authorities. Troopers say they located two loaded firearms and two bottles of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle.

Sibalich was cleared by the Med Center and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

He faces charges of reckless driving, second-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, third offense (aggravating circumstances) and resisting arrest.
