Bowling Green man charged with multiple drug offenses

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple drug offenses.

According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday morning to a reported domestic disturbance off of Glen Lily Road.

Deputies say 56-year-old Ricky Pierce of Bowling Green was located and detained at a residence due to allegations he had pointed a gun at an individual.

Authorities say marijuana was found in plain sight in the home, along with clear bags, scales, suspected psilocybin mushrooms and multiple glass pipes with methamphetamine residue.

While speaking to Pierce, police say he claimed ownership of the methamphetamine and marijuana.

In addition, deputies say they located a gun in the backyard.

Pierce was arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.

He faces charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana, between 8 ounces and 5 pounds, first offense, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense – drug unspecified and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
