Bowling Green man charged with kidnapping adult, sexual abuse

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges in an alleged sexual abuse case.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Monday for a report of a sexual assault.

Police say through further investigation, it was determined the suspect, identified as 76-year-old Henry Johnson of Bowling Green, had restrained the victim in a residence in order to sexually abuse the victim.

Authorities say during a controlled call, Johnson admitted to inappropriate physical contact with the victim and not allowing the victim to leave.

Johnson was arrested and remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.

He is charged with kidnapping of an adult and first-degree sexual abuse.
