Bowling Green man charged with fleeing police in vehicle, warrant served

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is charged with fleeing police over the weekend.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department observed a vehicle run a light through the intersection of Scottsville Road and Campbell Lane shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police say they conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as 45-year-old Adrian Troxler of Bowling Green.
Authorities say they learned a local warrant was out for Troxler. Police say they asked Troxler to step out of the vehicle and told him he had an active warrant.
The citation states Troxler then rolled up his window and drove off from the scene.
Officers say they were near the vehicle when Troxler drove away and nearly missed them.
Police say they did not pursue the vehicle but were able to locate it traveling on Ashley Street and Fairway Street. Authorities say they conducted another traffic stop, and Troxler exited the vehicle.
Troxler was taken into custody and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
He faces charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle) and disregarding a traffic control device – traffic light.
