Bowling Green man charged with DUI after vehicle hits shoe store

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges related to driving under the influence after hitting a local business.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Saturday to a collision in the 200 block of Three Springs Road.
Police say upon arrival, they located the caller at the scene.
Officers say the caller stated they saw a Jeep hit a curb, drive through Hayes Shoes parking lot and scrape the wall before stopping in another lot nearby.
Police say the caller stated an adult passenger and child were in the vehicle.
Officers say they made contact with Min Htoo, 37, of Bowling Green, who stated he was the driver and confirmed he had consumed alcohol earlier that day.
Following standard field sobriety testing, officers say Htoo was taken into custody and transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green for medical clearance.
Htoo was later taken to the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense.
