Bowling Green man charged after vehicle reported stolen

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges in relation to a vehicle that was reported stolen.
According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Ford Freestyle at the Huck’s gas station on Russellville Road at Blue Level Road on Aug. 30.
Deputies say the vehicle was confirmed to be entered as stolen.
The operator, identified as Ralph Deluca, 37, of Bowling Green stated he has had the vehicle for “months,” authorities say, and that “he was buying it from his boss.”
He stated his boss had been taking around $75 out of each check for the vehicle and probably reported it stolen.
Deluca was transported to the Warren County Detention Center.
He faces charges of operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000.
