Bowling Green man charged after police find stolen gun, cocaine

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges connected to a stolen gun.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Monday around 1:24 p.m. to assist in a residence search off of the 600 block of East Fourth Avenue.
Police say a complaint had stated 71-year-old Thomas Duncan of Bowling Green possessed drugs and a firearm.
Officers say Thomas signed a consent to search form, and upon searching, authorities located a handgun and two broken glass pipes with a white powdery substance.
Police say they confirmed that gun was entered as stolen out of Louisville.
Duncan was placed into custody and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
He faces charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (cocaine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
