Bowling Green man charged after officers find multiple illegal drugs
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department observed Craig Hill, 31, of Bowling Green entering a property where the owner had only given authorization to family and two close friends for entry.
Police say the owner has a standing order with the police department that if anyone is on the property or in the garage to have them banned and removed.
Police say they tried to speak to Hill, but he began walking away and continued walking further until later speaking to officers.
Officers say they told Hill he was observed trespassing on the property.
The citation states Hill’s actions were consistent with trying to evade police.
Police say they learned Western Kentucky University Police Department dispatch received a call about Hill throwing a bag when he was out of sight from officers.
Hill was detained. Authorities say the bag contained two loaded handguns, four fentanyl pills, 13.3 grams of suspected mushrooms, 22.5 grams of THC gummies, 8 grams of suspected marijuana, 75.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine inside.
Hill was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
He faces charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogen), tampering with physical evidence and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
