Bowling Green man arrested on DUI charge after collision
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges related to operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department says it responded around 7:22 p.m. Sunday to Elrod Road.
Police say Adis Cerimovic, 33, of Bowling Green was driving a vehicle when he rear ended a pick up truck hauling a trailer.
Upon contact with Cerimovic, police say his speech was consistent with being under the influence, and he had an odor of alcohol coming from his breath.
Police say based on their observations and field sobriety tests, Cerimovic was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle sustained a minor head injury due to the collision.
The other vehicle had over $500 in damage, police say.
Police say Cerimovic had a passenger present at the time of the collision.
Cerimovic was transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green for a medical release before being lodged at the Warren County Detention Center.
He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree wanton endangerment,
