Bowling Green man arrested on drug offenses in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Scottsville.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, around 3:30 p.m. Monday, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Mickey R. Carter of Bowling Green for a traffic-related offense.
Through investigation, authorities say they located methamphetamine inside of the vehicle.
Carter was arrested but later released from Allen County Detention Center.
He faces charges of failure to maintain insurance, no registration plates, no registration receipt, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and improper signal.
