Bowling Green man arrested on child endangerment and drug charges

BOWLING GREEN. Ky – A Bowling Green man is behind bars on a child endangerment and drug charge.

According to the arrest citation, Bowling Green police responded to a Nashville Road residence in reference to a disturbance.

Once consent was granted to enter the home, police say they observed 29-year-old Genaro Guerrero exit a bedroom and lock the door before attempting to leave.

The citation reads, inside the room was a one-month-old infant alone on the bed that Guerrero said he is the sole guardian of.

Police say there was no baby monitor of any kind nearby, and two glass marijuana pipes were found inside a duffel bag near the infant.

The infant was turned over to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

Guerrero was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
