Bowling Green man arrested on assault, burglary charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is accused of assaulting his wife and then leading deputies on a foot pursuit.

According to the citation, Wednesday evening, Warren County deputies responded to Millwood Court in reference to a disturbance.

Deputies say they gave verbal commands for a male walking around the area, later identified as 48-year-old Brad Chandler, to stop, but he took off on foot, crossing several fences and a field before being detained.

The citation states his wife told deputies that earlier on, while their juvenile son was in the room, Chandler picked her up off her feet by her neck and once outside of the residence, began beating on the doors and trying to enter through the garage.

Chandler was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a handful of charges, including second-degree assault-domestic violence and second-degree burglary.
