Bowling Green man arrested 2nd time within 2 months on vehicle theft charges

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing vehicle theft charges for the second time in nearly a month.
According to a uniform citation, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint Wednesday about a subject that had stolen a vehicle off of the 600 block of Washington Street in Brownsville.
Deputies say the victim stated the suspect took control of her vehicle and fled to Tennessee.
The vehicle was later found, and Jordan Watt, 28 of Bowling Green, was arrested.
Deputies say it was confirmed Watt had credit cards stolen from another vehicle and used them out of state.
He is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition auto between $10,000 and $1,000,000, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by unlawful taking or disposition contents from vehicle between $1,000 and $10,000, fraudulent use of credit card between $500 and $1,000 and theft of identity of another without consent.
Watt was also arrested last month after deputies say he used an ATV in a vehicle theft in Edmonson County.
He remains at the Hart County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
