Bowling Green investigation leads to discovery of drug ‘stash house’

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A drug stash house is out of operation following a recent investigation in Bowling Green.
The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force says it joined forces with the Bowling Green Police Department, Kentucky State Police and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to work a drug trafficking investigation in the area.
Authorities say on Sept. 22, detectives established a probable cause and obtained a search warrant.
That warrant was executed around 9:30 p.m. Monday, authorities say, at a residence in the 700 block of West Main Avenue.
This led to the discovery of 36 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 30 pounds of processed marijuana, 2 pounds of powder cocaine, 14.6 grams of powder fentanyl and several items of drug paraphernalia consistent with a large-scale narcotics trafficking operation.
The investigation will be presented to the Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky to decide which jurisdiction is most appropriate for prosecution.
This investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
