Bowling Green Freedom Walkers to host ‘Connecting Our Community’

BOWLING GREEN, KY – The second annual “Connecting Our Community” will be hosted by the Bowling Green Freedom Walkers on May 25.

The Bowling Green Freedom Walkers is an organization that supports mental health and Black Lives Matter.

The event is open to the public free of charge at the Parker Bennett Ball Courts from 3-7 p.m. for plenty of activities and entertainment.

The BGFW is providing complimentary food and drinks.

Community agencies, along with nonprofit organizations, will attend for the opportunity to find local connections. The event will also feature black-owned businesses and the Black vendor market.

“Connecting Our Community” will provide a mental health booth where individuals can speak to professionals or find more information on other resources.
