Bowling Green Football Receives State Championship Rings
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Purples football team received their state championship rings tonight — following their victory over Cooper last December.
The team’s 12-3 season was capped off by a state title victory over the Jaguars, 28-14. The Purple’s playoff run was dominant, as they averaged 43 points per game on offense and allowed an average of just 8 per game on the defensive side of the football. They now have some bling to show for their performance that led to the 8th state championship in school history.
