Bowling Green firefighters battle blaze at home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green firefighters responded to a house fire Friday afternoon in the 2400 block of Stonebridge lane, near Hillridge Court.

More than 20 firefighters arrived on scene just after 12:15 p.m.

According to Bowling Green Fire Department officials, no one was home at the time, but the upstairs suffered significant damage.

The Red Cross has been called to assist the family who lives at the home.

The cause remains under investigation.
