Bowling Green fire units respond to reported food truck incident

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local first responders were at the scene Tuesday morning of an incident involving a food truck.

According to a release by the Bowling Green Fire Department, Bowling Green fire personnel were dispatched Tuesday at 10:46 a.m. to a reported vehicle fire at Walmart at 1202 Morgantown Road.

The release states upon arrival, personnel located a food truck with no active fire and minor damage.

One person sustained minor injuries, according to the department. The department says this was the result of an equipment malfunction that caused a flare-up from the grill.

An investigator was called to the scene, and units cleared shortly after.
