Bowling Green Fire Department fights fire at home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Fire Department responded to a house on fire Friday afternoon.

It happened in the 1100 block of Kenton Street after 2 p.m.

According to fire officials, heavy smoke and fire were seen upon their arrival. The building was set to be demolished and some walls and floors had already been removed.

As of 3:30 p.m., fire investigators have not yet been able to enter the building.

It remains unclear if anyone was inside the building during the fire.

Firefighters remain on the scene at this time.
