Bowling Green drops season opener to Father Ryan (TN), 24-21

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Purples didn’t start the new season they would’ve hoped to.

Bowling Green fell to Father Ryan (TN) in the Rafferty’s Bowl 24-21 after the Fightin’ Irish kicked a game-winning field goal with under a minute left in the game.

The Purples head on the road for a week two matchup at McCracken County.
