BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Sunday night, several members of the Bowling Green community joined together to free a vehicle stuck on the side of the road.

With current road conditions, it’s easy to see how a vehicle could end up in a tough situation.

The Bowling Green Police Department says it found the stranded driver, with a City of Bowling Green Public Works employee already on scene working to help.

Police say officers jumped in, and additional community members soon began lending a hand.

Working together, police say everyone was able to get the vehicle unstuck and safely back on the road.

Officers say winter conditions can catch anyone off guard and thank those who stepped in to help.
