Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon cutting ahead of Stand For Children Day 2026

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Monday morning, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the 28th annual Stand for Children event at American Bank and Trust.

Community members, local officials, and event sponsors were in attendance to kick off the events celebrations, beginning with the ribbon cutting and proclamation.

Stand for Children has been an event that has gone on for nearly 30 years in Bowling Green, showing how important the community values local children and supporting the next generation.

“You think of 28 years, and there’s not a lot of events that get that long.” Said Joshua Smith, assistant director at Community Education. “And so we’re just grateful that our community is still after all these years still supports what we do.”
