Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce comments on Oracle move to Nashville
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – You may have heard about tech giant Oracle moving their world headquarters to Nashville.
With a giant company moving to our region, it turns out Bowling Green gains some benefits too.
So many employees are required to keep a company like Oracle operating on a daily basis.
We spoke to Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce President Ron Bunch, who told us a move like this is similar to AESC announcing their move to Warren County.
“Those new projects create opportunities for every community in the region… and so since we’re in Nashville’s region, the hit that they’ve had with Amazon and now the additional permutation with Oracle is great news for us and the kinds of jobs that we’re able to sustain and grow in our community,” he says.
Company officials with Oracle say the new offices will be open and operating by 2030.
