Bowling Green Aviation Park to host 14th annual hangar party

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The hangar party will take place at the Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport. Tickets are all-inclusive, meaning guests will have access to dinner, drinks and of course the ability to view the aircrafts on display.

This event helps support operational costs at the park as well as continue to secure future aircrafts for display.

The party is scheduled 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 28.

Ticket prices range from $40 adults, $15 children ages 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under.

While planners are still securing the particular aircrafts at the party, viewers can expect to see models from the 1940s and 50s up to present day.

Member of Aviation Park Board of Directors Joe Tinius said that the park expects their usual crowd of around 700 attendees – a crowd size that helps them out after having to close for the pandemic last year.

“ We were very disappointed to not be able to host our hanger party in 2020. Due to the pandemic, and we are very excited to be back this year,” Tinius said.

Tickets go on sale the first of August.
