Boos and Brews takes over the Capitol Theater on Oct. 20

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With Halloween just around the corner, the Warren County Public Library is bringing back a way to watch classic movies at the Capitol Theater and celebrate the spooky season.

The second annual Boos and Brews takes place on Friday, Oct. 20. This year, a double feature of “Beetlejuice” and “Ghostbusters” will be shown starting at 6 p.m.

This is a family friendly event, but for those 21 and over, White Squirrel Brewery will be on site, serving their favorite brews.

“I’m just glad we’re back. I’m glad that we get to do events like this. It’s a really neat project. It looks like it’s only their second year doing it. I hope we can build on it. We can grow with them as we do many more of these and many more events like this. It’s just great to be downtown and to be part of the community,” Sean Stevens, co-owner of White Squirrel Brewery says.

The showing is completely free, and concessions will be available on site.

“Beetlejuice” starts at 6 p.m., while “Ghostbusters” begins at 8 p.m.
