Blood drive to test for COVID-19 antibodies

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, February 9th. All donors will also be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. 

The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Blood Assurance Bloodmobile parked in front of the hospital’s main entrance.

Blood Assurance will receive the donations and the results of the antibody tests, which they will give to the donors. One of the main reasons for the antibody test is because they will ask donors who are positive for the antibodies to donate plasma to people who currently are struggling with COVID-19.
