Blessid Union of Souls comes to Glasgow this Saturday

GLASGOW, Ky. – Blessid Union of Souls is coming to Glasgow’s square this Saturday night.

People can buy their tickets for $18 to see the alternative rock band live at Glasgow’s Plaza Theater.

The band says their music is influenced by country-blues combined with 70s soul and southern nock. The boys have been playing, lead by lead singer Eliot Sloan, since the mid 80’s.

The ASCAP Awards honored the their hit song “I Believe” back in 1995.

Glasgow tourism and Barren County government said fun like this are exactly what their town needs. 

Barren County Tourism’s Landry Steenbergen said, “It gets people in Glasgow to see Glasgow and Barren County, and so I think that’s really awesome.”

Barren County Government’s Elaine Ross said, “The opportunities we have to create more revenue, we can invest them back into the community, now I can invest in more opportunities to make more revenue.”
