Meteorologist Scott Burchett is a life-long weather geek, having loved thunderstorms since he was a kid. Growing up in eastern Kentucky, he got to experience hot, stormy summers and cold, snowy winters. He earned his degree in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology from MIssissippi State University.
When he’s not watching forecast models, Scott enjoys spending time at home with his three dogs, Chase, Eliie Grace and Dixie or watching football. Some day, he hopes to write a script for a successful sitcom.
