BikeWalk BG hosts light up ride through downtown Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – BikeWalk BG hosted a light-up ride throughout the streets of downtown Bowling Green Monday night.

This is a unique holiday event where riders take a trip around Fountain Square Park, before making their way to areas like the Pedestrian Bridge at College Street, Bowling Green Ballpark and more.

Riders even showed up in their most festive attire to ride.

According to BikeWalk BG, this is the biggest holiday event they do each year, and members are excited about the turnout they saw this year.

“It’s such a festive occasion. We have a lot of our riders come out, in outfits and antlers and lights. It’s just part of a good holiday spirit,” Natasha Smith says.

Smith also added BikeWalk BG is thankful to the SOKY Ice Rink for providing tickets as well as Spencer’s Coffee who gave coupons to those who took the ride.
