Bigfoot Mini Con returns to Bowling Green this August

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bigfoot Mini Con is returning to Bowling Green on Aug. 1-2.
For fans of all things mysterious and unexplained, the two-day celebration is back with a lineup of guests in the fields of cryptozoology and the paranormal.
The event kicks off with an exclusive VIP evening on Friday. Aug. 1, followed by a full day of presentations, panels and shopping on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Cryptids & Cocktails – VIP Experience

Kick off your Bigfoot-filled weekend with Cryptids and Cocktails, an exclusive evening of sips, snacks, and conversation. Mingle with some of the biggest names in the cryptid world, including Dr. Mireya Mayor, her Expedition Bigfoot teammates Russ Acord and Biko Wright, paranormal expert Dave Schrader (The Holzer Files, Ghosts of Devil’s Perch), stars from Mountain Monsters, and researchers Ryan Golembeske and Mark Pruitt.

The adventure continues Saturday with a packed day of presentations at the Capitol. Dr. Mireya Mayor returns to the stage—this time bringing the full Expedition Bigfoot crew along with her. The lineup also features Dave Schrader, fan-favorites from Mountain Monsters, and noted researchers Ryan Golembeske and Mark Pruitt.
From compelling evidence and personal stories to cutting-edge research and local lore, this year’s MiniCon promises an unforgettable day for believers, skeptics, and the Bigfoot-curious alike. Don’t miss the Town Hall, where attendees can hear firsthand Kentucky cryptid stories from community members.
Attendees can also browse the Vendor Hall just steps away at One Roof Event Space at 400 E. Main Ave., open from noon–2:30 p.m. and again from 5–7 p.m., featuring exclusive merchandise and collectibles from presenters and regional vendors.
Hunt for Bigfoot (Art) in BG!
Leading up to the event, join in the fun with the Bigfoot Art Crawl! Last year, six talented local artists—Alexis Erskine, Shane Gerow, David Jones, Nellie Lutzwolf, Jim Madison, and Andee Rudloff—transformed metal Bigfoot silhouettes into bold and colorful works of public art. This year, two brand-new sculptures by Casey Page have joined the lineup!
Participants who find and snap photos with all eight sculptures, post them to social media tagging @capitolbg and @warrenpl, and show their photos at the door will receive FREE admission to Saturday’s BG Bigfoot MiniCon!
