BGPD investigating fatal Russellville Road crash

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating a fatal crash.

Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward says officers responded to a collision in the 2300 block of Russellville Road overnight on Sunday.

Ward says one of the vehicles crossed into oncoming traffic.

Ward says one passenger in the vehicle truck has died.

One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

No arrests have been made.

Accident reconstruction is underway.
