BGPD Honor Guard pays tribute to those lost in the line of duty

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department Honor Guard paid tribute Saturday to those lost in the line of duty.

According to BGPD, the honor guard headed to Owensboro to participate in the Supporting Heroes Tribute Gala.

The police department says this event is yearly to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

BGPD says it was honored to join the event.
