BGFW Back To School Block Party

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Freedom Walkers are hosting their 5th annual Back to School Block Party.

The event will be on July 27th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with free admission. The block party is at the Park Bennet Basketball Courts on 300 Jenkins Drive.

BGFW has fundraised 600 free backpacks and notebooks, it is on a first come first serve basis, one per child. The event is also offering free hot dogs, drinks and ice cream.

The Back to School Block Party will also have live performances, a DJ, bouncy houses, face painting, raffles and games. The event is opened to the local community.
