BG Public Works responds to large pothole on Smallhouse Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The City of Bowling Green Public Works responded to several areas today.

Public Works Director Andy Souza says crews responded to the 3400 block of Smallhouse Road to reports of a large pothole on Saturday evening. Souza says crews repaired the large pothole with a cold patch that quickly repairs asphalt.

Souza says the road is secure and will be reassessed in the morning.

Six Public Works vehicles were present in the city on Saturday. Souza says the city has a “rainy day” list of known or suspected troubled areas. The crews checked on the locations and photographed them.
