BG East ready to rally after opening game loss

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Losing isn’t something Bowling Green East Little League is used to.

They didn’t lose in the district, state or regional tournament.

Their first game at the Little League World Series was a different story.

A 2-1 loss to Minnesota dropped East into the loser’s side of the bracket, setting up a win-or-go-home game on Saturday against Rhode Island at 3 p.m. ET.

Head Coach Rick Kelley isn’t too worried, though, because he knows this is a resilient group that’s ready to rebound from Friday afternoon’s loss.
