BG Area Chamber holds 87th Annual Celebration at Sloan Convention Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tuesday night, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce held its 87th Annual Celebration at Sloan Convention Center.

Local business leaders, elected officials, regional partners, and special guests all gathered for a special reception, program and a magic act to top off the night.

Chamber President and CEO Ron Bunch said businesses in Bowling Green have made huge investments and announced new jobs in 2021, all raising the bar for new goals.

Bunch said with over $860 million in business capital investment and about 2000 new jobs created, 2021 is a year to remember.

Bunch said, “Even though we’ve faced some real challenges, our community came together and stayed together and really supported one another. Despite all that, 2021 was an excellent year, and we’re here to celebrate that as a business community.”

With over 1,200 Chamber partners and a list of new companies including Tyson Foods, Bunch has high hopes for the Chamber in 2022.
