Beshear welcomes Passport’s One Stop Help Center with ribbon cutting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear visited Bowling Green Friday to welcome Passport Health Plan’s One Stop Help Center.

The new help center, which will help our community to stay healthy and provide job opportunities, was unveiled with a ribbon cutting. In addition, the center will bring connection and engagement within the community.

This One Stop Shop Help Center will offer several health services, such as vaccinations, check-ups and even some cooking classes. Within Kentucky, there are six One Stop Help Centers in Owensboro, Lexington, Louisville, Hazard, Covington and Bowling Green.

“We cannot only for instance get someone their vaccine, in the back we can connect them to services through the Med Center,” said Beshear. “We can make sure they are getting the preventive services that they need, the cancer scannings. We can get them on extra snap benefits, extra food benefits.”

The Passport One Stop Help Center will be open weekdays from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. For any health concerns, you will be able to visit the help center at its location on U.S. 31-W Bypass.
