Beaver Dam police investigating business break-in involving stolen vehicle from Bowling Green

BEAVER DAM, Ky. – The Beaver Dam Police Department is seeking information on three suspects in an Ohio County investigation.

According to a social media release, a burglary alarm was triggered at Rice’s Pharmacy, located at 1209 N Main Street, at approximately 5:46 am Friday.

BDPD says a witness saw an orange vehicle in front of Rice’s Pharmacy and saw two suspects dressed in black exiting the building.

The witness told police they followed the suspects and called 911.

Police say the suspects’ vehicle was seen traveling on U.S. Route 231 with its headlights off and that an attempted traffic stop was made.

The vehicle continued onto Highway 62 East at a high rate of speed, passing cars.

The officer lost sight of the vehicle.

BDPD says the vehicle was loater located in the 3000 block of Rob Roy Road.

The vehicle was determined to be a stolen 2022 Chevy Camaro from a car lot in Bowling Green.

BDPD believes three suspects are involved in the investigation. Police believe two of the suspects entered Rice’s Pharmacy, and another was the driver.

The investigation is ongoing.
