Battle of the Badges blood drive to take place July 19

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Battle of the Badges blood drive is taking place on July 19.

Battle of the Badges encourages first responders and the local community to donate blood to save others.

The Bowling Green Police Department and the Bowling Green Fire Department will battle to see how many participants either side can get.

The prize is an influx of blood donations for those in need. The blood drive will take place at the Sloan Convention Center from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
