Batmobile coming to BG! NCM to exhibit Corvette legend’s creations

'Custom CARisma: The Legendary Creations of Carl Casper'

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Car fans and superhero fans alike will be happy to learn the iconic Batmobile is coming to Bowling Green!

The National Corvette Museum just announced that Corvette legend Carl Casper’s creations, including the Batman Returns’ Batmobile, will be a part of the 2023 lineup.

Beginning March 10th, you can come check out the NCM’s exhibit, Custom CARisma: The Legendary Creations of Carl Casper.

The exhibit will pay homage to the showman’s famous Louisville-based auto shows, once known to astound car enthusiasts across I-65.

You’ll get to see Casper’s hottest concept vehicles and flashiest show cars: the best designs out of the 1000+ vehicles that the Kentucky native produced over the years.

NCM Curator of Collections/Exhibits Manager Bob Bubnis said, “His base was here in Kentucky. To celebrate this great show that he had with all the people who’ve been missing these car shows because he hasn’t done them since 2017, we’re really excited about bringing that back here to the NCM.”

This is just the first of many exciting events the NCM announced today. A new exhibit will open this summer for the Corvette’s 70th Anniversary, and the museum, itself, will celebrate its 29th anniversary this fall.
