Barren River Area Safe Space hosting school supply drive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The new school year is right around the corner.

One organization is looking to help families who may not be able to buy their own school supplies.

This year, the Barren River Area Safe Space, better known as BRASS, is hosting a school supply drive.

BRASS provides emergency shelter, support services and educational programs for those affected by intimate partner violence in the BRADD region.

The school supply drive is open throughout the month of July, where they collect backpacks, notebooks, writing utensils and more.
