UPDATE: Barren County sheriff investigating 2-vehicle collision

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motor vehicle collision with injuries.

According to a release, deputies responded to the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and Frank Mills Road on Tuesday evening.

BCSO’s investigation shows that a vehicle operated by Jeremy Fields, of Glasgow, was traveling on Franks Mill Road. Fields stopped the vehicle at a stop sign.

Detective Adam Bow says Fields attempted to cross Veterans Outer Loop and continue onto Frank Mills Road.

Fields’ vehicle crashed into a car operated by Jeremy Brown, of Glasgow.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
