Barren County schools temporarily shut down in person learning due to rise on COVID cases
GLASGOW, Ky. – Beginning Monday all Barren County Schools will move to distance learning.
This campus closure will last until Nov. 6, with students returning on Nov. 9.
“We are implementing this shut-down due to rising COVID-19 cases in both the school and community,” reads a release on the school system’s Facebook page. “Schools will be communicating distance learning information ASAP.”
Childcare services will also be unavailable during this time.
