Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation celebrates two staff members with perfect attendance in 2024
GLASGOW, Ky. – In Glasgow, two women have set the standard for excellence for the staff at Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation by not missing a single day of work in 2024.
“We were pretty excited to be able to host something like this, to recognize them, to show their dedication to our facility and the company,” Sarah Rowe, an administrator with Barren County Nursing and Rehab, says.
Maria Parrish and Meaghan Larimore have been valuable assets to their team and the residents they serve, so staff decided to honor their dedication with awards and a ceremony.
“Both of them are huge assets to our facility… and we are so happy to be able to honor them today and recognize them in this way,” Rowe says.
For Maria, her secret boils down to just two words: good leadership.
“The health care team and staff members… they are very well supportive, helpful, caring… dedicated to serving the residents. That’s what makes me motivated, and also good family support and understanding,” she says.
As for Meaghan, it’s the relationships she’s built with her residents that make her want to keep coming back.
“I’ve made connections with all of them and some of them are just very special. We talk every day and it’s amazing,” she says.
Sarah says she is grateful to have team members like Maria and Meaghan on her staff, especially considering the field they work in.
“COVID, pre-COVID, post-COVID, that’s what we’re in now. Times have changed so much with people’s work ethic and dedication to the population that they serve. Having two people like Maria and Meaghan, who’s dedicated to coming to work each day… it’s unheard of now,” Rowe says.
Maria added the job is very challenging at times, but she learns new things every day, so she’s grateful to those she works with. Meaghan reiterated that, saying it’s an honor to work with her team.
Congratulations to Maria & Meaghan on their awards!
