Barren County Judicial Center Development Project Board holds first meeting
GLASGOW, Ky .- The Barren County Judicial Center Development Project Board held their first meeting virtually this afternoon for the Judicial Center project.
They discussed the advertising for an architect engineer and a financial advisor.
The architects will have about four weeks to plan a proposal and present it to the board.
Plans call for the building to be around 65,500 square feet in total when completed. A location has not been designated yet, as the board’s Danny Rhoades explained how they will pick it.
“It’s a public hearing. We invite the public to come in and propose if they have available property, propose those [properties]. The architect will then in conjunction with you all, evaluate those sites,” said Rhoades.
The next meeting date will be 1 p.m. Jan. 27.
